Find calendar days, working days, weeks and months between any two dates
When you need an exact day count
Notice periods
Most companies require 30, 60, or 90 calendar day notice periods. Enter your resignation date and proposed last working day to verify you meet the exact requirement — counting wrong by even one day can delay your relieving letter.
Loan interest periods
Banks calculate daily interest on the outstanding principal. Knowing the exact number of days between disbursement and first EMI, or between two EMI dates, helps you verify interest charges on your loan statement.
Visa and passport validity
Many countries require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months (180 days) from your travel date. Check the exact day count between your travel date and passport expiry to avoid last-minute surprises at immigration.
Working days vs calendar days — which one do you need?
Legal contracts and employment terms usually specify either "calendar days" (every day including weekends) or "working days" (excluding Saturdays and Sundays). A 30 calendar day notice period is about 22 working days. If your offer letter says "60 working days notice," that's actually about 84 calendar days — almost 3 months. Always clarify which type your document means before calculating.
